It was a busy weekend. We have a new nephew, Silas (I forgot to take my camera when we went to visit him). And Fin got his first tooth, and his first four wheeler ride (notice how I look like I've been riding the four wheeler since the day he was born). The weather was nice so we spent time outside doing yardwork. Then we went down to the park so Fin could go swinging. He loves swinging and kicks and screams when you take him out. It's hard not to laugh.

Bailey and I got a nice big gobbler this morning. We were in the woods and set up by 5am. The tom was roosted about 75 yards away. We called and he answered back right away. We continued to call off and on for about an hour or so. He finally came in about 30 yards away following some hens. Bailey asked if I was going to shoot it but I didn't hear her because I had just pulled the trigger and shot. BANG!!! He weighed 25.4 lbs, sported an 11 inch beard and 1 inch spurs. It was a lot of fun, next year Bailey will get to carry the gun and hopefully bag her 1st gobbler. I can't wait. -Mark

Last weekend was Easter. We spent Saturday in Lodi at Grandma Linda's and Grandpa Ken's house. On Sunday we woke up, and after Bailey and Fin found their Easter basket's from the Easter Bunny, we headed to Dodgeville to have lunch at Grandma Nancy's and Grandpa Bob's house. It was a long weekend of traveling and we were all tired when it was over. Sister Bailey is coming down again this weekend to go turkey hunting with Dad. We'll see if there are pictures of a turkey to post after this weekend. Fin and Mom are just going to hang out this weekend and play.
